Looks like the Tory Knives have struck again. I used to be a Civil Servant in a certain part of the Department of Work and Pensions that constantly made the headlines. Ah well, at least he's got his Guide-Dog as company.

Haloween in Derry

As part of my Student life in Derry I went to the City's Haloween festival. One aspect that was worrying was the large number of men and boys dressed up as Republican Paramilitaries. Though I am in favour of a United Ireland, I want NOTHING to do with those who still believe violence is the solution to our problems. I lost my father to the UVF 16 Years Ago, so I know what I'm talking about.

One good point was; the Pub I was in played 'Rat Trap' by the Boomtown Rats.
